Hybrid documents

Hybrid documents are common in the ODX and ZUGFeRD standard. They combine a PDF for manual processing with an embedded XML structure for automatic processes. This means that both manual and automatic processing can be carried out with the same document.

Document types

There are four document types that are processed: Orders, order confirmations, delivery notes and invoices. Documents must have the required quality in terms of both content and structure to enable automatic processing.

Transport channel types

There are four different transport channel types. As a sender, you decide on a channel type and offer all four channel types to your recipients. This means that you can serve all relevant transport channel types from the ODX standard and in the HVAC industry with just one solution.
