Founded in 1992 as a spin-off from the University of Paderborn, ITEK's corporate focus is still on the optimization of inter-company information and communication processes. For almost 3 decades, associations have trusted us with the standardization of B2B processes, whereby we participate in the development of a multitude of industry standards (especially EDIFACT / EDTITEC / EDIKEY, IDS-Connect, Open-Connect / SHK-Connect, ELBRIDGE, ETIM, ZUGFeRD).

Since 2017 ITEK has its own business area " technology ", which is organized in the subsidiary "ITEK Technologie GmbH". Here ITEK offers cloud-based solutions, especially for inter-company product data management, which are now used by several thousand companies.
