On behalf of ETIM Deutschland e. V., ITEK is actively working in various areas to continuously develop and optimize the ETIM classification. This also includes the processing and implementation of special national interfaces to ensure smooth data exchange and enable better adaptation to national market requirements.
As the staff unit for the ETIM HVAC sector, we are aware that the efficiency of search mechanisms in online shops, the creation of catalogs, and, last but not least, personal customer service depend heavily on the quality of product data.
In 2022, the building materials sector was also published for ETIM Germany. We at ITEK have taken on the administrative work for this sector and are committed to updating and further developing this standard with the help of our members.
Since 2017, ETIM Germany has been coordinating the ELBRIDGE data exchange standard to ensure a smooth flow of information between manufacturers and retailers. These diverse standards complement each other and only reach their full potential when used in combination.
