ETIM XChange was developed by ETIM International and will also be used in Germany from version 2.0 onwards. Similar to BMEcat, ETIM XChange enables product master data in the electrical industry to be transferred from manufacturers to wholesalers. The data is transferred asynchronously in JSON format.
From 2026, version 2.0 of the standard will also be used in Germany and will be supported by Open Datacheck Elektro, among others.
The interface description is expected to be available in November 2025.
