Distribute product data to Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg with Omni Channel Stream Benelux

You as a manufacturer deliver your products to wholesalers in Belgium, the Netherlands or Luxembourg. In order for the wholesalers to be able to include your products in their online stores, they of course need the relevant data as well as marketing and sales documents for the various products. However, wholesalers in the Benelux use the 2ba and InstallData platforms for product data distribution. And these platforms have their own data model, which can only be supplied via a BMEcat. Therefore you as a manufacturer are forced to prepare your product data according to the BMEcat industry standard (BMEcat ETIM Guideline 4.0.3), so that you can provide it to the wholesalers on 2ba and InstallData.

To explain: BMEcat is an XML-based exchange format for catalog data. These XML files are plain text files that are human readable but still quite complex and therefore require intensive training.

The Omni Channel Stream Benelux data distribution package can be used to create a BMEcat of your product data that meets the requirements of both platforms. This BMEcat can then be deployed on both platforms respectively. An Excel spreadsheet is available for you to fill with your product data and verify. The Omni Channel Stream Benelux data distribution package can then be used to create a BMEcat from the Excel file and distribute it to the 2ba and InstallData platforms.
