As a manufacturer, you can use the Omni Channel Stream ETIM data entry assistance to maintain your ETIM classification features in addition to your product master data and marketing and sales collateral.

ETIM is a standard for article classification that enables a consistent and clear description of products internationally. This makes it easier for your products to be found in the wide range of products offered by wholesalers.

The Omni Channel Stream ETIM data entry assistance offers you as a manufacturer the possibility to maintain product master data and documents as well as ETIM classification features. The Omni Channel Stream platform provides you with an entry assistant for the SHK and electrical sector.

You have the following advantages:

  • No fixed input format for data delivery - No BMEcat or XML file required for transmission, a simple Excel file is sufficient.

  • Data distribution according to current industry standard - The file is maintained according to the respective current industry standard, such as DQR 9.0 or ETIM BMEcat 4.0.

  • Transfer ETIM characteristics for Open Datacheck platforms - The maintained ETIM classification characteristics from the file can be transferred to the data delivery for Open Datacheck SHK and Elektro. If you have activated the channel, you also have the possibility to distribute your data directly on the Open Datacheck platforms.
