ODX standardization completed and pilot projects launched

The Open Document Exchange (ODX) standard, which was adopted by wholesalers (DG Haustechnik) and tradesmen (BVBS, ZVSHK) at the end of last year, is now being tested by the first wholesalers and software houses as part of a pilot phase.

The document types order, order confirmation and delivery bill were standardized on the basis of the international ORDER-X standard. The initial focus is on digitizing the counter business, i.e., the purchasing processes at the pick-up counter.

Following the introduction of ZUGFeRD invoices, this standardization represents the next step in the modern digitization of document processes between wholesalers and retailers.
