Optimal product data with ETIM classification

Maintaining and classifying product data is a tiresome topic for many manufacturers, as it takes up a lot of time, effort and personnel. But this does not have to be the case. With the ETIM Check Up and subsequent ETIM classification with ITEK, you receive added value for your company without a great deal of effort on your part.

In the ETIM Check Up, we check your products for possible classes in the ETIM database. This step simply serves to determine whether possible ETIM classes exist for the products. Usually this is the case and we can assign 95% of the products to an ETIM class. In this step, we also look at the product master data to ensure that there is enough information for a class assignment. Afterwards, we discuss the assigned classes with you and check that the assignment is correct. Then you can decide on the actual ETIM classification following the ETIM check-up.

For the ETIM classification, we create a template for you in which you maintain the characteristic values of the individual ETIM classes. Once you have filled in the characteristic values, we check the assignment for completeness and correctness. If all characteristic values have been filled in correctly, we create an export for your customers or insert the ETIM classification in the last data delivery on the desired target platform.
