With the integration of BauDocs in Omni Channel Stream, you as a manufacturer can easily distribute construction documents to your target groups in the HVAC and electrical sectors.

As a manufacturer, the preparation of data takes up time and human resources. Nevertheless, ensuring high data quality is essential for the success of companies in the digital age. After all, without optimal and complete data, wholesalers and tradespeople will sell fewer products via digital channels such as online stores. This also includes construction documents. It is therefore important for you as a manufacturer to deliver high data quality in order to optimize the sales opportunities for your products.

BauDocs is a system for the management of construction documents from manufacturers for craftsmen. It enables you as a manufacturer to provide your wholesale and trade customers with all the documents relevant to the construction process as required and to integrate them directly into the construction processes.

This means that you can use the BauDocs integration on Omni Channel Stream to provide your relevant target groups with construction documents such as product data sheets, assembly instructions, circuit diagrams, etc. directly on the item. More than 50 document types are available to you. In addition, the construction documents are each assigned to one of three different construction phases on the item.

In the quotation phase, sales documents such as data sheets and certificates are particularly relevant. Assembly instructions and dimensional drawings are required in the second phase, the construction site preparation phase.

 

This is followed by the handover of the construction site to the customer, during which documents such as operating instructions and care instructions are provided.

As different documents are required for a thermal accumulator than for a shower tray, for example, all the construction documents you provide are checked for each individual item. Data gaps are thus presented transparently and you, as the manufacturer, receive direct identification of missing documents as well as an overview of the relevance of the data in the various construction processes. Your target groups are then provided with your quality-checked and complete construction documents.
