From 1 October 2019, a corresponding pilot project will begin with renowned wholesalers (currently DEHA, Fega & Schmitt, GC Group, Sonepar, Rexel) and approx. 15 manufacturers. The aim is to implement the data quality requirements from the electrical sector developed in recent months in an industry system with major process advantages. This enables manufacturers to submit their master data at a single point in order to supply the entire electrical wholesale trade with high-quality product data. All data structures are based on the ETIM standards of the electrical industry.
As in the SHK sector, Open Datacheck also offers a number of additional process integration options for the electrical sector, such as the direct connection of PIM tools or on-demand data supply (ETIM Master Data WebService).
From 2020, further participants are to be continuously connected to the system.
