Online shops are one of the most important sales tools in the B2B sector, especially in the HVAC and electrical industries. Nevertheless, there are often challenges in terms of usability and customer-specific wording.

Many wholesalers are faced with the problem that although their online shops function technically, customer searches are made more difficult by confusing filter structures and inconsistent product and class descriptions. Different formulations or synonyms between manufacturers and retailers lead to confusion, manual adjustments and lengthy processing procedures.

The Meta Information module offers a solution to these problems. The module allows you to manage meta information centrally via your XS Cloud and thus improve consistency and clarity in your online shop. The filter options are based on the ETIM standard, but can be expanded to include additional information on the classes and features in order to map your specific customer requirements. The additional information can be, for example, the filterability, the sorting order or the prioritisation of classes or features. This makes it easier to standardise filters and classes and react more quickly to changes without having to manually adapt multiple systems.
