The XI Cloud is a service for the on-demand provision of information, specifically for connecting IT systems between market partners. In particular, the multitude of standards, including their versions, requires transparency about which market partners offer which interfaces and how. The XI Cloud can also be used to map different numbering systems, e.g., different supplier IDs in the various systems on the market.
The Connect directories document relevant information about the interfaces available from market partners and their associated parameters for implementation on the other side. Connect is available in two versions, one of which is SHK-Connect. This is a solution that enables members of DG Haustechnik in particular to maintain their data cost-effectively. In addition, Open Connect is offered for all other market segments, especially the electrical and building materials sectors.
