Products can be uniquely identified either by a GTIN or by a combination of the article number and supplier ID. While the article number of suppliers is usually maintained in all user systems, suppliers are represented according to their own numbering system. If product information on an external system needs to be accessed and no GTIN is available, the Supplier ID Hub provides the assignment of the supplier's own number to the corresponding supplier number of the external system. This allows the article to be uniquely addressed.
Open Masterdata enables on-demand access to product data from your own system to an external system, in this case Open Datacheck. The Supplier ID Hub allows you to link your own supplier IDs to those of Open Datacheck. This enables direct access to the desired item through live translation of the various ID systems.
Matching tables are provided for different supplier ID systems.
This applies to all on-demand access to product master data.
The products are maintained via an interface or Excel spreadsheets.
