Release ETIM 10.0 - Classification according to the current ETIM standard

Within the two-year processing period, 5,264 RFCs were edited, 119 new classes were created and 33 classes were deleted. ETIM 10.0 also introduces new feature groups that make it possible to categorise features into groups. The class-group relation has also been fundamentally revised and improved. This adjustment was necessary to take into account the merging of sectors from the past and to ensure that new products are assigned to the correct groups. 

The files for ETIM 10.0 are also available to all ETIM members in the internal area at ETIM.de. Here you will find both the German and English translations in the usual file formats. Some of the other translations are already available, while others will be completed by the respective national organisations in the near future. A mapping table is also available to facilitate the changeover to ETIM 10.0. Version V1 is currently available, which provides a simple overview of additions and deletions. The more complex variant V2, which also contains successors for characteristics and values, will be available shortly.
