As a wholesaler, you manage and optimise your online shop independently. Online shops are one of the most important sales tools in the B2B sector, especially in the HVAC and electrical industry. Online shops must therefore be optimised so that customers can always find the right products as quickly and easily as possible. By utilising relevant filter options using so-called meta information, you can significantly increase the usability of your online shop and therefore your sales opportunities.
The challenge here is that different meta information is required in different systems and therefore has to be processed manually and individually for the consuming systems. There is a lack of standardisation, overview and a central point for processing.
The Metainformation module offers you the solution. It enables you to insert and maintain the relevant meta information centrally via your XS Cloud. This means you can react quickly to any changes and do not have to adapt them in different places.
The ETIM standard creates a database for the filter function. You can use Metainformation to add additional information to the corresponding classes and features.
Compatibility with other XS Clouds in which relevant Metainformation is also maintained. This can be used automatically and can be adopted or overridden.
If the shop system or shop provider is changed, the knowledge and relevant Metainformation are retained. New systems can simply use this information via web service or export.
